disney pt.3
so here we have day 2 at the magic kingdom. i really have too many pictures, so i had to just pick a few and show them…

again, just as you walk in, you walk down main street into the magical cinderellas castle

this was a precious moment…destiny, who talked the whole time about how cool it will be “for the kids”, and how she wanted to go before avery got “too old”…here she is when the princesses come out of the castle during the “dreams come true” mickey mouse show. brilliant. she is just such a little kid a heart, like all of us i guess, but thats what this place will do to you..bring out your little kid.

neener.

one of those “in between moments” moments.

i loved this statue of goofy

during the show

and for me, the show was about to begin

i love shooting at dusk…ok this is night…handheld at 1 second. i was pretty impressed with myself.

cinderella in front of her house

i was just entranced by the beautiful colors and lights

“…when you wish upon a star…”

majestic

what can you say, they do a good job

more to come….

man, though crowd…i fixed it ok.
avery is learning editing and proofreading right now in 4th grade. we could give her a little project of proofreading your blog before you post some of this stuff. it looks like you either have horrible grammar (which we know is false), or you are foreign… and you as white as they come!!! i love you:) but i am NOT kidding,
These are great you guys! The colors are awesome on the castle…maybe you could sell them to Disney:)
I also love the pic of Destiny and Avery awaiting Cinderella…priceless!
It looks like you guys had a FABULOUS time!
“taking your own picture with a 73 pound camera is hard…” LOL… I guess that explains why Ansel Adams never held an 8X10 view cam at arm’s length!
Great pics! Your kids are adorable! What a precious family you have.
Wow! very nice captures. I was there. I am that big, older guy with the short grey beard (& bald head if my hat was off) that you showed one of you photos to on your 5D’s LCD. You gave me this blog address. You have the creative talent, people skills and incredible abilities to get the images just right. It was my 14th time at Magic Kingdom and I live in Houston, Texas. Over the past 50 years or so, I have taken 100,000+ snaps and rarely run into anyone that has taken more. You are an avid shooter, how wonderful. How inspiring. Now I wish I had taken my 30D into the park instead of leaving it in the car. Thanks and best of luck to you.
thanks david…WOW! 14 times! thats amazing. it is a very cool place though.
Just had to comment. The pic of Destiny delighted about the princess, next to Avery, who looks slightly less than thrilled is absolutely darling! Great capture.
