this was an interesting one. andy has one crazy family! i hope your dad recovered well andy! this one was at a korean methodist church in irving, then we went on to sura, a korean restaurant for the reception. faves:

God bless you guys!
such a sweet couple. the ceremony was held at my new favorite venue, the belmont hotel in dallas. i thought the place fit these two perfectly. andy and robin were a breath of fresh air, as far as brides and grooms go. very laid back, in love. uber cool. reception at the sons of herman hall. here are a few of my favorites:

richard best got a great shot here

the drummer for the band “boys named sue”

this dude just showed up.

well, i had a wonderful time at the mistfits meeting the other night. we had a very select few photogs show up, namely jared hernandez, andrea crosswhite, and lauren zaffos. i had fun because i got to share some of my favorite techniques with these guys. if any one you reading this want to come to the next one, we should have more next time, including kym skiles of F8 studios, and THE fred egan.
here are some of the images taken by the aforementioned studs (post processing by yours truly, i hope you guys dont mind…):
first a couple of andreas

ANOTHER e-session! bru, i am killin the e-sessions lately. dane and ashley are a super sweet couple. i have to apologize to dane for giving him such a hard time about his fiance being like a foot taller than him! ok, maybe like an inch or two, but it was a total surprise, as i had only met ashley prior to the session. but dane was a good sport, and we had fun anyway. here are some of my favorites:

ashley had a very natural way about her. plus shes like 6 feet tall! a photogs dream.

this ones for dane

that dusk sky

ok, so its set. we will be meeting in the parking lot across the street from tiggers in deep ellum on monday, the 12th, at 4:00 pm. we will be shooting first, then well all put our heads together and come up with a place to go and hang after. see you guys then!
another engagements session. boy, i have been knockin these out lately! andy and annie were real cool. they wanted some shots in some traditional outfits, then some shots with the wedding dress and tux on, and i was more than happy to do that, as i dont get to spend a lot of time with couples actually in the dress and tux. mostly i get about 10 to 15 minutes right after the formal, and before the ceremony. i would certainly recommend this for all of my future clients, or at least a day after shoot, wink wink.
we had a great time at the japanese gardens in ft worth, although i was a bit afraid that we were going to get kicked out by putting these guys under that tree. they had to climb a small hill to get there, and i am sure we were not supposed to. lol. then on to the kimball. again.
my faves:

absolutely love this shot in the parking garage

annie looking gorgeous

the OG

had to put this one on. it was trent, my assistants idea. nice job trent

gotta love the sky at dusk

this is one of my favorite all time bride and groom images

first time i have had the chance to shoot in ft worth. this time i shot at the kimbell art museum (mostly because the modern art museum kicked us out). had a great time with these two, who were very adventurous and obviously into each other. here are some of my faves:
